SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Three adults were found deceased after a shooting Monday afternoon at an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Saint Paul Avenue, according to the Saint Paul Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 4:10 p.m. on July 20 after receiving multiple reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located three adults deceased inside the leasing office of the apartment complex. The area was secured, and residents were evacuated while investigators processed the scene.
On Tuesday, the Saint Paul Police Department announced the arrest of Tsegaab A. Binessu, 30, of Saint Paul, on suspicion of murder in connection with the case. Police said Binessu was taken into custody by St. Louis County deputies in Virginia, Minnesota, before being transported to Saint Paul Police Headquarters.
The investigation remains active. Formal charging decisions will be made by the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office.
