The Bicycle Response Unit Supervisor oversees NCN's Bicycle Response Unit, leading field operations, coordinating breaking news deployments, supervising correspondents, and ensuring safe, professional, and timely news coverage. This position works closely with the Director of Operations and the Assignment Desk to coordinate responses to breaking news, public safety incidents, major community events, and developing stories. Reports to the Director of Operations.

Lead NCN's Technology Division, overseeing digital infrastructure, correspondent tools, publication platforms, and cybersecurity.

Direct NCN's research and analytical operations, including fact-checking pipelines, data journalism, investigative research support, and source verification.

Design and implement NCN's correspondent training programs, credential certification processes, and editorial standards framework.

Manage NCN's organizational administration, budget allocation, financial planning, and operational logistics.

Direct NCN's field operations, managing correspondent deployment, breaking-news response logistics, and on-the-ground coverage coordination across all 38 covered states.

Oversee NCN's editorial direction, story selection, standards enforcement, and the overall journalistic voice of the organization.

Lead NCN's communications strategy, public relations, brand voice, and external messaging across all platforms and audiences.

Serve as the official voice and primary on-camera representative of the National Correspondent Network. Deliver public statements, brief the press on NCN positions and editorial decisions, and represent the organization in media appearances, public forums, and partner engagements. Reports to the Executive Director and Chief of Staff.

The Secretary of Executive Administration supports the Office of the Executive Director by organizing executive records, coordinating meetings, tracking priorities and helping ensure that approved leadership decisions are documented and communicated throughout NCN.

Build and sustain NCN's relationships with communities, local organizations, and the public to ensure accountable, community-centered journalism.

Provide legal oversight, ensure regulatory compliance, protect source confidentiality, and safeguard NCN's editorial and operational integrity.

Shape NCN's digital presence, audience growth strategy, platform distribution, and the long-term roadmap for NCN's digital products.

Support, advocate for, and develop NCN's correspondent network, ensuring correspondents are equipped, supported, and represented across the organization.

Lead NCN's investigative journalism unit, directing long-form investigations, managing secure source relationships, and overseeing the publication of high-impact accountability reporting.

Oversee NCN's live broadcasting studio, streaming infrastructure, and real-time field broadcasts — ensuring professional, reliable live coverage of breaking news and major events.

Direct NCN's photojournalism and visual storytelling — managing correspondent photography standards, visual ethics, and the visual identity of NCN coverage.

Build and lead NCN's audio division — developing podcasts, audio briefings, and spoken-word journalism that extends NCN's reporting into new formats and audiences.

Serve as a credentialed aerial correspondent within NCN's Air Operations Division, capturing aerial coverage of breaking news, major events, and developing stories. Reports to the Secretary of Field Operations.

Serve as a credentialed NCN field correspondent embedded in a assigned region, covering breaking news, community stories, and developing events with on-the-ground reporting.
