COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, Minn. — Authorities are investigating a shooting reported early Monday, Sept. 14, in Columbia Heights that left two people hospitalized.
According to information provided by the Columbia Heights Police Department, officers responded to the 4100 block of Madison Street Northeast at approximately 6 a.m. following a report of possible gunshots.
When officers arrived, they did not locate any victims at the scene. While investigators were processing the area, police received information that two individuals who may have been involved had driven themselves to a local hospital with gunshot wounds. Their conditions have not been publicly released.
The Columbia Heights Police Department and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident. Authorities have not publicly announced any arrests or released information identifying a suspect or possible motive.
