ST. PAUL, Minn. — St. Paul police responded to Union Depot on Saturday night, Oct. 31, after a melee broke out inside the downtown station during the BundleHalal Fall Market, a community market that drew more than 100 local vendors.

Video from inside the venue shows a fight involving multiple people, and separate video shows two officers — one carrying a rifle — running up a stairway near the station's transit gates as attendees moved away from the disturbance.

Twin Cities Crime Watch & Information, a local page that monitors police scanner traffic, reported Saturday night that it was receiving word of "a melee and possibly gang shooting" at Union Depot during the event. Police have not confirmed that characterization.

As of late Saturday night, the St. Paul Police Department had not released a statement confirming a shooting, injuries, or arrests connected to the incident. NCN contacted the department's public information office on Saturday night and is awaiting a response.

The Bundle Fall Market, organized by BundleHalal, a Twin Cities halal grocery delivery service, ran from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday across two halls of Union Depot, with food, fashion, fragrance and gift vendors and a prayer space on site, according to the organizer's website.

This is a developing story. NCN will update this article as officials confirm details.
